What it does?
The S.O.P.O.C EnGen is a new model of the generator which incorporates the alternator into the engine unit thereby reducing losses and increasing efficiency of genset by many folds. The device uses linear generator to transform the linear reciprocating motion of the engine pistons to convert into electrical power. This is achieved by electromagnetic induction in the stator coil wound around the cylinder due to the reciprocating motion of magnet fixed to the piston connecting rod. The Opposed Piston-Opposed Cylinder (OPOC) configuration is used to increase the thermal efficiency and for much better dynamic balance over any other configuration of the engine piston and cylinders.
